This is an excellent company and the service they provide is outstanding. I called the company when my boiler suddenly broke down on a cold morning. I was expecting my baby granddaughter and I was very worried. I called the number (because they were near me) but It was the best thing I could have done. The manager understood my situation and made me a priority and said someone would come within an hour. 50 minutes later Besi arrived (one of the senior engineers). He was just wonderful; professional and kind. He found out what the problem was and fixed it very quickly. While he was still at the house the power (and therefore the heating) went off again. Best then very efficiently discovered what the problem was (electrical). He made everything safe and got the heating back on. Besi then provided very good and professional advice as what I needed to do to. He also provided really good options for the new timer that I needed. I am so very grateful to Besi and to the team.

Very Happy With The Service. I had been let down by a previous company when my boiler failed. However Boiler Breakdowns were very good from start to finish. Their engineer arrived on time and diagnosed the fault quickly. He then ordered the part and was able to return within 48 hours to fix the problem. There was a mix up with the bill at the end however when I contacted them they were extremely helpful and refunded me £144 as a gesture of goodwill within a few days of me raising the issue and took my comments on board about explaining how the costs work. I would have no issues using them again.

I was recommended by a friend to use these guys, so gave them a call, the following day my en-suite is all fixed. The communication from them is great, the pricing is clear and they made sure I was aware of any changes and all the work they were doing. Will definitely use them again!!!!

The technician was fantastic The technician was fantastic and the company was very professional. However, the person in sales was quite pushy. He even seemed to withhold or misrepresent information in order to encourage me to replace rather than repair the boiler. For example, I was told the repair would take much longer than it actually did, and I was told that a reply was needed by a specific time even though this turned out not to be the case.

Competitively priced, and billable in 30 min slots which keeps the costs down. A good experience from SE area I managed to get an appointment on the same day. Customer service called to inform that engineer was delayed. When engineer turned up he was polite, explained to me what needed to be done and get on with it without leaving a mess.

I was very impressed with Heating and Plumbing Central. Two years ago, I needed them to change my very ancient boiler which had finally given up the ghost... Seems simple enough, but I have a warm air system which is not very common, and I didn't want to switch to radiators as that would have been a really big job... So they installed a new boiler which has so far worked perfectly. It was still quite a big job, but it was performed efficiently, within budget and specified time frame so I was satisfied.

I just needed a boiler service so called a few companies and got a good impression about these guys from their highly professional customer service team. I thought that might mean a suitably hefty price tag, but actually they were at the cheaper end of the companies I called and gave a fixed price. They also had an appointment available almost immediately. Refreshingly (and unlike many other tradesmen I've encountered in the past!!!) the plumber was efficient, friendly, smart and left the place exactly as he'd found it. He also turned up at the exact apt time!! How rare it that? Also, some tradesmen still talk down to women on tech issues (I know, unbelievable!), so this plumber just treated me like a 'customer' which is how it shoudl be. It was convenient to pay (I gave card details over the phone but the payment is not taken until after the apt) so I didn't have to worry about having cash to hand. I'll definitely use them in the future and will request the same plumber.

I had a really tricky boiler installation because of the way the pipework had to be diverted. I was dreading the whole process, but Besi of Boiler Breakdowns did a magnificent job. He was true to his word - he said he and his team would install and make good all the pipework in one day, and fit the boiler. They did just that. They arrived at 9 and were finished by 4pm. Other companies quote two days to do the work!! Besi is the James Bond of Boilers! I will definitely get them back to do my radiators soon.

Very easy and great customer service. A year ago my boiler blew up so needed to get someone out to help. Unfortunately I had to get a new one and these guys did what it says on the tin. I had a new boiler the next day. A year on I Got a text to say I needed to get my one year boiler service and was just easy to get it sorted.

I started to use Boiler Breakdowns when a previous company could only offer me a 5 day wait to fix a breakdown. Boiler Breakdowns came same day. Since then I have used them for regular service and have been impressed by the professionalism of their staff and by the thoroughness of their work.

New Ideal domestic boiler fitted in November 2017 to replace old Potterton boiler. Superb installation by engineer Mo, fitted in a day, extremely neat, tidy job with two new separate motorised valves to improve control and distribution. Mo was unfailingly helpful, polite and efficient, the job was all done and working in a single day and works perfectly. Mo returned in February 2019 to carry out the service on the boiler and Magnox sludge trap. Many thanks, highly recommended.

Always a reliable and efficient service experienced so far. It wasn't until the engineer had left having repaired the cistern flush in the toilet that I noticed the toilet seat lid had a large crack in it that must had happened during the repair work. Just wanted to let you know.

Repair job carried out without any problem I'm very pleased with the two engineers that attended. The boiler had a simple fault, a PRV that was leaking. I had already called three firms and was told that although the PRV is a cheap simple component to change, but the boiler has to come off the wall to do it. Consequently I was told that either I need a new boiler, or I should call Worcester-Bosch to attend such a difficult job. These engineers just confirmed the fault, took it off the wall (which took 15 mins), changed it, back together and job done. It works well, no delay, no mess, no argument, and no 'Hard-Sell' to replace with new. I would recommend them without hesitation.

In less than 24 hours my hot water immersion heater was inspected, the issue was fixed and the boiler is up and running. Boiler breakdowns helped me out when another company let me down as my boiler pressure had dropped. they came out promptly and fixed the problem. There are also the only company that charge by half hour rather than by hour minimum. I therefore asked them for a quote to get a new boiler. They were competitive with a like for like boiler. They were also willing to talk about my other quotes and advise. The engineer Dimeche was also very neat and tidy. Disposed of all rubbish as promised. I had a small leak on the radiator and he came out and fixed it quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. I did not initially get a follow up call from the company but they did apologise for this. they were professional throughout.

I phoned in the morning and the person I dealt with was very clued up - asking the right question and with a friendly and straight-forward manner. The engineer came just a few hours later and (as promised) he rang me 30 minutes before arriving. He was very polite (offering to take his shoes off) and had a calm, professional manner. He understood the problem and how to fix it immediately, worked fast, left no mess and made sure I was happy with his work before leaving. needed a new boiler very quickly. These guys were available fastest but just for a marginally higher price (although not ridiculously higher). At first it seemed vastly overpriced but when I called the office they were able to more clearly break down the quote for me. The engineer was able to come extra early so that my guests could get back in to the flat in the evening. They only sent one engineer but he was very thorough, tidy and professional. He finished the job in about 10hrs as expected. The boiler they installed uses a wireless thermostat for control. I asked for some extra support in explaining how to program it, but until now I have had no help on this. I was handed a small leaflet manual on the day which unfortunately is not very clear. This may have lead me to using the boiler in a slightly less than efficient way because I don’t know how to use it properly.

Couldn’t do enough! 3 of the team were there all day, without a break, and replaced an old gas boiler an immersion heater with combi system (and a lot of removal of dead pipe!). Every design decision they asked for feedback instead of crashing on and took my uneducated questions without any issue. Both knowledgable and helpful, and after care they have no hesitation to help either.

Suitable appointment times. Firstly, I want to thank Conor in the office who was very patient with me and helped to sort out a time that the engineer could visit to do an assessment and then a further appointment to carry out any necessary repairs. My availability was very limited. The engineer was very knowledgeable and quickly was able to determine what was wrong and what was necessary to do to repair the boiler. He identified a couple of other issues that meant that the boiler was not entirely safe and these issues were also addressed. A gas certificate was then issued at my request. The cost was a bit more than I had hoped but in keeping with what was done.

Excellent service I rang the company, spoke to a very helpful receptionist and she arranged for an engineer to call the same day as he was in the area. After inspecting the boiler, he carefully explained what was wrong and what needed to be done to get it working properly again. He ordered the parts, came back the next day to fit them and thoroughly tested the boiler afterwards.

I recently moved into a new flat and the boiler was very old and a really cheap model. I have had numerous problems which have left me with no heating or hot water. This company have been very responsive and available to come out at short notice. They have on each occasion been able to tell me the fault with the boiler and fix it quickly, and showed me how to fix one of the faults myself so that I would not have to call them out again for that particular issue. Quick and well done I'm very happy with my experience. I called a technician on Thursday and booked at a Saturday morning slot. By Monday my boiler was replaced completely (as unfortunately it was quite old) and everything is functioning perfectly. I definitely recommend this service. Matthew

The boiler broke down late on the coldest night of the year. I run a day nursery and would have had to turn away the children if my boiler wasnt fixed that night. I phoned and spoke to Jack at well past 9pm, I wont lie the price he quoted made me take a sharp intake of breath, however they were the only ones answering the phone at that time of night so I agreed and crossed my fingers. An engineer called Seth turned up an hour later and I have to say he was brilliant, he found and fixed the problem quickly, then aware that I'd paid for an hour he took the time to teach me some basic boiler maintenance, recommendations on energy efficiency and how to use my programmer, really appreciate his patient, non patronising manor and the quality of their service Thanks to Jack and Seth I was able to open as normal the next day

I first used Breakdown Boilers and it was engineer Milenco, knows what he is doing lovely chap, I will not use anyone else it was last year 2018 had numerous quote to fix boiler etc they were not the cheapest but they fixed the problem which had be ongoing for 10 years with different heating engineers saying it was this and that at the cost of me keep paying out. Happy with service We recently called out Boiler Breakdown as water and heat packed up. Engineer, Miran, who came to see us was very helpful and just got on with the job. He wrote a good summary of work done and what was needed to be done.

I've twice used Boiler Breakdowns for routine inspection/servicing of my combi boiler. Booking a visit is efficiently done, and the service people have always come as arranged and given me a detailed account of the health of my boiler. Most recently, the charge was a very reasonable £80 plus VAT.

My boiler stopped working My boiler stopped working and I tried various heating engineers and all were busy. Boiler Breakdowns came next day and the engineer was very knowledgable and identified that the central heating pump had stopped working. They charge £45 for the first 1/2 hour plus labour. Also if they have to go and get a part then its a charge of £90 for the 1st hour in collecting the part. The engineer also identified that British Gas had installed a magnet booster incorrectly.

I cannot fault the service delivered by Boiler Breakdown. From engagement on the quote, to scheduling the work and then finally completion of the work. Our engineer was brilliant, and demonstrated great expertise. So much so that our neighbour has now asked for their boiler to be replaced by the same engineer - all out of a demonstration of great service and expertise.

Swift response to a gas leak from a basement stove. Went the "extra mile" in that they also secured the stove to prevent further movement (that had dislodged the gas in-feed). Courteous and knowledgeable.

My experience with Boiler Breakdowns was that it was very good for customer service and the installation of the new boiler. The only thing that was not good was that 3 weeks later I still haven't received a proper invoice. I was promised this as for me, a landlord, I need it for my books. What they supplied was a photo of a handwritten receipt by the engineer who installed the boiler. This isn't enough.

A very happy customer! The perfect example of how to get the job done exactly how the customer expects... My boiler failed Thursday morning, I called another company (my usual boiler specialists), but they had bookings for the next 7 days! I checked online and found this business, I made a simple phone call and was welcomed by a member of their team who booked me an engineer call-out for a time slot that was convenient to me (due to work commitments) of 7am-9am the next day. The engineer arrived at 8am, fixed the boiler and checked for any gas leakage amongst all the other usual GasSafe checks, talking me through the steps to let me know the issues that arise or may arise in future, and he did that all within half an hour. I’m now off to work with minimal disruption and a fair price for a job well done. I would not hesitate to recommend the engineer and the business to anybody asking. A very happy customer!

I had a very pleasant surprise with this company in that they responded and sent out a plumber who knew his stuff within 2 hours of our phone call. The plumber who attended was excellent and did not try it on like so many plumbers do! He informed me that 2 parts that had broken down were still under warranty and helped me arrange for the manufacturer to come out and replace these parts FREE of charge whilst he continued his work and I made a phone call. Most plumbers would have tried to get the business from me and charge for the parts but he kindly informed me that we did not need to pay as we should still have the manufacturers gurantee in place. Having been in the property business for over 20 years, I was very happy with his explanations and findings that the plumber told me and he explained everything clearly without trying to make the problem of a small leak worse than it was. I was very happy with the service and will now start to use them for my property company. Highly recommend this firm!

I have contacted the Boiler Breakdown & Plumbing Specialists this morning - one of 8 companies - following the breakdown of my boiler 2 days earlier. An engineer from another company came in yesterday but was unable to source the necessary parts needed in time. So you can imagine my relief when I was greeted with a friendly and extremely helpful person on the phone whom I felt genuinely cared about finding a solution to my problem.

An engineer turned up within an hour and having diagnosed the problem he went and sourced the parts needed immediately and got my boiler working again shortly after.

Best boiler service around This is the first time I have used boiler breakdowns. I cant compliment them enough about the excellent service we have received. It wasnt all plain sailing and to be honest, I am quite a demanding customer- nonetheless, they have exceeded our expectations. Our boiler broke down just over a week ago, late one afternoon. We contacted boiler breakdown, as they were the only ones available in our area to come out that day. We were of course a bit wary as we have all experienced poor service and rip offs from gas engineers. Adam, the engineer, turned up at the exact time arranged. he explained the boiler needed replacing (we knew it was on its last legs so not surprised) and said he could sort a new one the next day. We were naturally a bit apprehensive about possibly being rushed into something. Did quick trustpilot search and noted excellent reviews and got some other quotes. Price was reasonable for what was required and I sorted out the paperwork with Jack. It was now getting quite late in the evening and Jack patiently went through this with me, despite the many clarifications and way past his leaving time. Deal was agreed about 9 pm, some urgency required as he had to order parts for the next day. He said it would be there 8 am the next day. Exactly 8 am all the parts arrived. The engineers Adam and James arrived the next day to install boiler. This couldnt be completed that day due to a genuinely unforseeable bend in the flue through the ceiling. They ordered the required parts which turned up the next day and was installed and completed as promised the following day. A few days later, I noticed some water dripping out of one of the pipes. I contacted them and spoke to Conor who helpfully tried to arrange an engineer for that day. He called a bit later to say they couldnt come out that day, but could the next day. I did have a bit of a go at him and insisted on someone that day. He pulled out all the stops and Adam returned that evening to sort it out. It was a blockage of the condensation drainage pipe that could not have been anticipated at the time of installation. I did phone Conor to thank him for the service an apologise for having a go at him. The reality is that there are truly some genuinely excellent gas service providers and i was wrong to have let some prior poor experiences influence me. Boiler breakdowns are a family business that have been around for a very long time. They will genuinely do their utmost to provide an excellent service. This year I had excellent service. An appointment was made within 2 days for a boiler service and gas safety check. The engineer arrived in good time having called 30minutes beforehand. The work was efficiently completed at a fair price. I would hope to use them again in the future.

Boiler Breakdowns were brilliant. After a flood in my kitchen I was left with a broken boiler and an awful lot of mess. The office staff were so helpful and sent Andy, the repair guy within a few hours - the week before Christmas. He did the necessary repairs and a full service - my boiler has never worked better! My boiler has been making noises that I have a plumbing company looked at it and changed a part on the boiler that costed me £250 and the pump needed a replacement quoted for £600 It was a rip off. I got fed up with the noise i didnt want to pay that much for a pump. I googled and found BoilerBreakdown. A professional technician (Besie) came on the very same day found that there was a leak on the pump. He immediately turned the gas off for my family's safety. Professional and helpful. Returned from abroad to a freezing house with no CH or hot water. The engineer (Mo) arrived later than scheduled but did call beforehand to warn of the delay. He correctly identified the problem and clearly knows CH systems inside and out. He also fixed the problem - was able to source a new pump quite late in the evening - and fixed it. He was professional, helpful and polite. The price for the work was reasonable, given that it was an emergency.

The first visit was efficient and was able to fix my problem and gave me an understanding of what the issue was. The second visit wasn't helpful as the engineer took half an hour to realize the replacement piece that he got wasn't the correct one and I had to reschedule again after already doing that twice. Overall average everything works fine now, a little pricey.

Boiler Diagnostic Asked them to come to do a boiler/heating diagnostic. Were round in about 3 hours which was very good considering it was a non emergency, great service at what I what i thought was good value. Really friendly guy, ran me through all the things I needed to know, really helpful.

Friendly, helpful, efficient people Don’t think these folk just look after boilers despite their name. I’m a landlord and I called them from my mobile with a lousy signal about a broken, leaking tap in my Hanwell property. The person who answered the phone was patient, charming, intelligent, helpful and efficient. Despite me being difficult to contact, unable to be at the property, and unable to give her a contact number for my tenant at the time, she organised the whole process for me in very little time. The engineer turned up exactly when they said he would, having called 30 mins before (I did find a contact number in the end). The job was done quickly and efficiently at the price agreed. These folk now have the contract to service the boiler and provide the gas safety certificate for that flat. Recommend unreservedly.

Spring in the air I had a very nice and competent Engineer in to sort out our central heating ,which has been struggling to work for some time . After an extraordinary amount of effect ,and testing every part of our system the radiators are now hotter then they have ever been . A slight problem with time keeping ,which was not the engineer fault as he has to cover a very large area around the extremely busy M25 . I was kept informed at all times as to arrival times .

Phoned at 7am and had an engineer at our house by midday. Really knowledgeable bloke who was able to quickly identify we had a pump issue. Good to know that this company keeps standard stock on their vans so he was able to fix the problem straight away rather than order the part and come back. Good service all round from the engineer ringing us an hour before to check we were in to an after sales call to check all was well. Highly recommend.
